We just got back from soundcheck at Cap Square, and shit looks really good. The stage reminds me of the mobile stage Musiccanteen used to roll out for their shows, only bigger and generally doper.The sound's going to be clear as fizzuck. Zee Avi (Kokokaina), Stylustiks, Joe Flizzow, Yuna, Goldfish and Arabyrd will be up on stage all damn day from 2pm onwards, and there's a ton of shit for you to do and buy too. Oh yeah TRS will get on at 9pm, and we'll have Figure of Speech from The Works and SSK with us. 

Did I tell you shit is free? Tak. Payah. Bayar.

Besides live music performances and DJ sets by Malaysia's music heavyweights, there are also art and design installations, a flea market and all kinds of activities to keep your senses stimulated. More UOX Play events will be happening following this in unusual places around the city as well as Penang before finally climaxing at a massive event in KL come January 2009. And we hear that it will be loaded with an awesome lineup of international music acts!!

Some Rogue Squadron News/Updates

Rogue Squadron were featured in this month's JUICE which is a hip hop issue. Other prominent crews in Malaysia were also included in the massive writeup.

RS members DJ Layzr and DJ Intake both placed #2 and #3 respectively in Malaysia DMC with DJ Ceza of Ahli Fiqr and The Stylustiks claiming first place.

About two months ago, 65&hope chief Fazli a.k.a. Freaky Z came down from SG to visit KL. He also presented to us the award trophy for Favourite Overseas Act @ Hope Award since we were all too broke (or MY style lazy) to go to SG again to receive it. Thank you mr freeky.
